Why LektroLykes ?

Electrolytes such as sodium, potassium and magnesium are required to maintain adequate hydration and proper acid/base (pH) balance in the human body. Loss of these essential minerals in vomiting, diarrhea, or excessive sweating can lead to dehydration, muscle cramps, and serious pH imbalance.
Most rehydration powders and sports drinks are designed to replace the electrolyte losses that typically occur from sweating, and do not contain enough potassium, sodium, or bicarbonates to replace the electrolyte losses that occur in diarrhea.
Unfortunately, adding additional electrolytes to a solution creates a salty taste that then requires additional sugar or artificial sweeteners to improve palatability.

LektroLykes™ is a proprietary blend of electrolytes and the prebiotic sugar alcohol Xylitol that, when reconstituted in water or other appropriate beverage, has a taste and clarity approaching that of natural water.

Purge
LektroLykes™ can be mixed with MiraLAX ® or other generic PEG when used for acute or chronic constipation, for a more electrolyte-balanced purge.
Cleanse
A single package of LektroLykes™ reconstituted with one 4.1 oz. bottle of 7 dose MiraLAX ® (119 gm.) and water can be used as a simple neutral-tasting 4 glass colon cleanser.
Replenish
A single package of LektroLykes™ added to 32 oz. of any Sports Drink can be used to more closely approximate the electrolyte losses that occur in diarrhea.
